Product Settings: How do I manage application fees collected on Happy Mango?

Happy Mango is integrated with Clover for processing online debit card and credit card payments.  For applicants who do not have a card, you can also offer to collect fees through ACH.

Either Card or ACH May Be Used for Fee Payments

Your customer will see a page like the one below for making fee payments using a card.  The card payment processing agent Clover will authenticate the card info and transfer the payment collected from your customer's card to your designated bank account. 

Set Up Card Payment Processing on Happy Mango

To start processing card payment, you will need to set up a merchant account with Clover and provide a bank account for receiving card payments.  You can do this on the "Payments" page after clicking "System Settings" from the top right drop down menu.  Once your merchant account is set up, proceeds collected from card payments on Happy Mango are automatically deposited in batches into your bank account connected to Clover.

Manage Application Fees by ACH

ACH fee payments are processed manually.  Happy Mango collects ACH account information from your customer and displayed the information on the “Application Fees” page. You can use this page to manage ACH fee payments.  Once the payment is marked as “Paid”, the account and routing numbers will automatically disappear for protecting your customer's sensitive financial information.
