This article covers the steps to generate closing documents and communicate with the applicants after a credit application has been approved following underwriting and the final review.
Step 1. Find the application that has been approved
Open "Under Review - Ready for Notification" page and select an "Approved" application. The "Decision" column lists the underwriting decision for each reviewed application. You can also use the FILTER function to display all and only "Approved" applications on this page.
Step 2. Generate loan documents with specified loan terms
Click the hyperlinked App # to open the individual application page.
Click on the "APPROVE" button to open up the pop-up window for finalizing the terms to be offered.
The pop-up window fields are pre-filled with the terms entered at the end of the underwriting process. To change any term, click on the blue Edit icon.
Click on "PREVIEW" to preview the closing document. Click on "SUBMIT" to generate the final loan closing document.
Click on "SEND" in the next pop-up window to trigger an email and text notification to the applicant with instructions on completing the closing process and signing the closing documents. Upon clicking "SEND", the application will be automatically moved to the "Approved - Pending Closing" page.
