Application Review: How to Perform the Final Review

The "Under Review - Ready for Final Review" page is an optional step.  It is used for performing and documenting the additional reviews required following the initial underwriting process.  This step can be skipped through the process settings on the Product Settings page.

On the "Under Review - Ready for Final Review" page, the initial decision made following the underwriting in the previous step, i.e. carried from the "Under Review - Ready for Initial Review" page, is presented in the "Recommendation" column

Here are the steps to perform the final review. 

Step 1. Open an individual application page

The final reviewer can open any window to review any information collected and decision made related to the application. 

Step 2. Make a decision

The final reviewer can perform any of the actions below following a review of the initial decision made.

OVERRIDE

Clicking on "OVERRIDE" allows the final reviewer to change the previous decision made by the last reviewer. The application will move forward to "Under Review - Ready for Notification" page with the new decision or a different set of terms.

REJECT

Clicking on "REJECT" sends the application back to the "Under Review - Ready for Initial Review" page to be reviewed again from the beginning. It is used if the final reviewer decides that the initial review should be redone. 

PROCEED

Clicking on "PROCEED" keeps the existing decision along with terms offered. The application will move forward to "Under Review - Ready for Notification" page. It is used if the final reviewer agrees with the previous decision made by the last reviewer. 

All actions taken are documented on the "Review History" window for each individual application.
